Pillow Washing and Maintenance

The feather pillow is a delicate product, and to preserve it carefully, it is important to know how to wash and store it properly.

If it has not suffered any particular damage, the pillow can safely be washed once a year before being stored; frequent washing is not necessary to keep it fresh.

If you notice dust on the surface, we recommend removing it with a soft brush. We recommend not shaking the pillow vigorously to avoid breaking the feathers inside.

• The recommended washing temperature is 40°; moderate temperatures help prevent damage to the outer fabric.
• Dry cleaning at a laundry is permitted, provided the washing instructions are followed carefully.
• Use mild detergents and plenty of water to ensure that every trace of soap is removed. Avoid using chlorine-based detergents, which can irreparably damage the feathers.
• Spin the pillow to remove as much water as possible.
• Tumble drying at medium/low temperatures is permitted. Dry the pillows outdoors, keeping them in the shade at all times to prevent the outer fabric from turning yellow.
