Se non subisce particolari danni, il piumino letto può essere tranquillamente lavato una volta l'anno prima di essere riposto; non sono infatti necessari lavaggi frequenti per mantenerlo fresco. Per ottenere performance più alte, consigliamo di scuotere spesso e delicatamente il piumino esponendolo all’aria per ridare volume e vaporosità alla piuma.
Se notate della polvere sulla superficie, consigliamo di rimuoverla con una spazzola dalla mano leggera.
- Consigliamo di non sbattere il piumino energicamente per evitare di rompere le piume all'interno.
- Il lavaggio consigliato è 40°; le medie temperature evitano infatti di rovinare il tessuto esterno.
- Consentito il lavaggio a secco in lavanderia seguendo attentamente le istruzioni di lavaggio.
- Utilizzare detersivi delicati e molta acqua per assicurarsi di rimuovere ogni traccia di sapone.
- Evitare l'utilizzo di detergenti a base di cloro che danneggino irreparabilmente la piuma.
- Effettuare la centrifuga per togliere più acqua possibile.
- Consentita l'asciugatura in asciugatrice a medio/basse temperature. Consigliamo di asciugare i piumini all’aria aperta in posizione verticale. Mantenere i piumini sempre all'ombra per non ingiallire il tessuto esterno.
- Utilizzare o riporre il piumino letto solo quando totalmente asciutto.
