4 season goose down duvet

  • FILLING: This duvet is filled with soft flakes of Siberian goose down. The choice to use Siberian goose down suggests particular attention to quality and comfort, since Siberian goose down is known for being particularly soft and insulating.
  • COTTON SATIN FABRIC: The outer cover of the duvet is made of a luxurious cotton Satin fabric. This fabric not only gives brightness to the duvet, but also softness to the touch. Satin cotton is known for having an elegant look and a pleasant feel against the skin.

The Campiglio down jacket features several improvements compared to the model Monaco:

  • Fabric quality: For our products, depending on the line, we have chosen cotton covers with different thread counts (+ threads = + fabric quality and + resistance). The more we raise ourselves with the line, the higher we also rise with the quality of the external fabric. In fact, the external lining of the Campiglio has more threads than that of the Monaco.
  • Filling power: The filling power represents the size of the down flock. The higher the Filling Power, the larger the down flake will be. The Monaco has a filling power of 700 while the Campiglio has 780. This means that the quality of the Campiglio down is slightly better than that of the Monaco.

Washing tips

If it does not suffer any particular damage, the duvet can easily be washed once a year before being put away; in fact, frequent washing is not necessary to keep it fresh. To obtain higher performance, we recommend shaking the duvet often and delicately, exposing it to the air to restore volume and fluffiness to the down.

If you notice dust on the surface, we recommend removing it with a light-handed brush. We recommend not beating the duvet vigorously to avoid breaking the feathers inside.

The recommended wash is 40°; medium temperatures in fact avoid ruining the external fabric.

Dry cleaning allowed in the laundry by carefully following the washing instructions.

Use mild detergents and plenty of water to ensure you remove all traces of soap. Avoid using chlorine-based detergents which irreparably damage the down.

Spin to remove as much water as possible.

Tumble drying at medium/low temperatures is permitted. We recommend drying duvets outdoors in a vertical position. Always keep duvets in the shade to avoid yellowing the outer fabric.

Use or store the duvet only when completely dry. We recommend storing the duvet in a dry place inside a cotton bag. Zenoni&Colombi, together with its duvets, provides a practical dust bag for storing them.

Do not store goose down in plastic bags or vacuum bags to avoid damaging the down filling.
